Edition 2025 — Martyrs of La Storta
The 2025 Commemoration
The 2025 edition of the Commemoration of the La Storta Massacre was held on June 4th, on the day of the 81st anniversary of the Liberation of Rome. That year, the ritual also opened in front of the memorial on Via Antonio Labranca, in the La Giustiniana district, with the laying of the laurel wreath and the remembrance of the fourteen men killed at dawn on June 4, 1944, on the Via Cassia, including the trade unionist Bruno Buozzi.
A civic tradition of Municipality XV
The ceremony was attended by institutional representatives of Municipality XV and the City of Rome, the victims' families, the ANPI "Martiri de La Storta e Isola Farnese" section, and students from the "Bruno Buozzi" school, who accompany the morning every year with readings dedicated to the memory of the Roman Resistance.
