Edition 2025 — Saint Agatha Summer Festival in Alì

The 2025 edition celebrated the 899th anniversary of the translation of Saint Agatha's relics, as part of a spiritual journey toward the 900th anniversary. On August 17th, starting at 8:00 AM, the opening of the shrine, the translation of the relics to the high altar, and Eucharistic celebrations took place; at 8:00 PM, the evening procession with the relics moved through the village of Alì.

2025 Edition: The 899th Anniversary

The commemoration on August 17, 2025, in Alì marked the 899th anniversary of the translation of Saint Agatha's relics, presented as a stage in a spiritual journey leading the community toward the 900th anniversary. The day began at 8:00 AM with the opening of the shrine and the translation of the relics to the high altar of the Cathedral, followed by Eucharistic celebrations throughout the day.

In the evening, at 8:00 PM, the procession with the relics took place, the most heartfelt moment of popular devotion in Alì, in the heart of the village in the province of Messina.
