Edition 2025 — COMICON

The 25th edition of COMICON Naples was held from May 1 to May 4, 2025, at the Mostra d'Oltremare and closed with an absolute record: 183,000 visitors, a 4.6% increase compared to 2024, and sold out even before opening. Over 600 events across 80,000 square meters celebrated the festival's twenty-fifth birthday, with Tanino Liberatore as Magister and a very young audience arriving largely from outside the city.

Twenty-five years of COMICON

The quarter-century edition took place at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples from May 1 to May 4, 2025, with over 600 events spread across approximately 30,000 square meters of indoor space and 50,000 outdoors, the 850-seat Teatro Mediterraneo, conference rooms, live music stages, and a 6,000-seat outdoor arena.

Numbers and audience

The festival closed with 183,000 visitors, a new record and +4.6% over the previous year. About 60% of the audience was under 25 years old, and 71% came from outside Naples, confirming the event's tourism appeal for the Campania region.

Guests and awards

The Magister of the edition was Tanino Liberatore. Among the protagonists of the four days were Max Pezzali, the collective The Jackal with the series «Peschi Piccoli», and Japanese guests Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa. A special career achievement award went to Altan, while Zerocalcare won the award for best comic with «Quando muori resta a me». In closing, the dates for the 26th edition were announced, scheduled from April 30 to May 3, 2026.
