Edition 2025 — Collesano Carnival

In 2025, the Collesano Carnival celebrated the 40th edition of the Peppe 'Nnappa Competition, with over a week of festivities from February 25 to March 4. Papier-mâché masks, dance halls, parades, and new awards — including the Iachetta Prize and the Pro Loco Prize — enlivened the Madonie village until the final dawn awards ceremony.

The 2025 edition of the Collesano Carnival celebrated an important milestone: the 40th edition of the Peppe 'Nnappa Competition. The event took place from February 25 to March 4, with over a week of music, shows, and tradition that turned the town into a grand stage.

Highlights included the opening "Waiting for Carnival" event in Piazza Quattro Cannoli, traveling parades with the Peppe 'Nnappa mask, the "Let's Dance Ballroom" competition in Piazza Zubbio, and the magical parade with students from the Collesano Comprehensive Institute. For the 40th anniversary, new awards were introduced, such as the Iachetta Prize, the Pro Loco Prize, and two online contests.

The grand finale, between March 1 and 4, featured the judging of the best dance halls and masks, accompanied by musical events in Piazza Zubbio and Piazza Quattro Cannoli, culminating in the traditional 4:30 AM awards ceremony that crowned the competition winners.
