Cogruzzo Boys' Festival

The 46th Cogruzzo Boys' Festival was held on May 1st, 2025, in the hamlet of Castelnovo di Sotto (RE), continuing a tradition that has lasted for decades. The day began at 8:30 AM with the arrival of parish groups and the 9:00 AM open-air mass in the oratory garden, followed by the official opening of the competitions at 10:15 AM, accompanied by musical marches and team banners.

The competitions, open to children born between 2011 and 2019, started at 10:30 AM, interspersed with a mixed Dodgeball tournament for assistants and chaperones and lunch with the classic fried gnocco from the ANSPI bar. In the afternoon, a treasure hunt and, in the evening, the awards ceremony concluded a day dedicated to games and community, promoted by the ANSPI "Don Urbano Bellini" club and the San Francesco d'Assisi Pastoral Unit with the patronage of the Municipality of Castelnovo di Sotto.
