Cocconato Medieval Fair

The 2025 Medieval Fair in Cocconato was held on Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, September 21, with hours ranging from late Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning. The squares of the Asti village hosted the medieval market with artisans, blacksmiths, and weavers, as well as taverns with traditional dishes inspired by the Middle Ages.

The program included falconry displays, jester shows, and equestrian entertainment, in addition to scenes of period life set up by the districts. On Saturday evening, the official investiture of the Palio Captain took place, while on Sunday morning, the historical parade from the Town Hall to the Parish Church accompanied the blessing of the new Palio banners. The fair opened the celebrations that concluded with the 56th edition of the Palio degli Asini on September 27-28.
