Clazz 2025: the eighth edition on Mount Amiata

The eighth edition of the Clazz International Music Festival brought Arcidosso to life starting Monday, July 21, 2025, for two weeks of music between classical and jazz. The event brought together over fifty musicians from all over the world: about twenty internationally renowned teachers and thirty students selected from the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Estonia, and Italy.

Among the masters present were the French-jazz horn player Giovanni Hoffer, bassoonist Paul Hanson, Bulgarian violinist Miroslav Hristov, jazz and classical singer Anqwenique Kinsel, and Helmut Lipsky, co-founder of the festival. The artistic direction was entrusted, as usual, to Matt Pickart. The evening concerts, at the Teatro degli Unanimi and other locations in the village, offered programs ranging from chamber music to jazz improvisation.
