Classica - Classical Music Festival in San Vivaldo

The 2025 edition of Classica celebrated thirty years of the festival that has united the municipalities of Montaione and Gambassi Terme, in the Tuscany Region, since 1995, centered around the chamber music of the Orchestra della Toscana. In San Vivaldo, a village in Montaione, the concerts took place on the first Sundays of July, all at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of the Flight into Egypt of the Jerusalem of Tuscany, a splendid 16th-century sacred mount nestled in the woods of the Florentine Valdelsa. The program alternated ORT chamber groups in formations ranging from trios to quintets, pairing famous repertoire pieces with rarer and more unusual works. In 2025, the festival maintained free admission, confirming its popular vocation and its focus on enhancing the artistic and landscape heritage of the territory.
