Eighth edition, twenty evenings at the Botanical Garden

In 2025, the IUC summer festival offered twenty events in the historic gardens of Queen Christina of Sweden, in Trastevere, from June 17 to July 23. That year, the core of the program was the chamber repertoire, with well-known and lesser-known masterpieces by Brahms, Schumann, Haydn, and Beethoven, alongside the 20th-century works of Shostakovich, Pärt, and Castelnuovo-Tedesco.

The formula alternated between unique concerts at 9:00 PM and double-bill evenings at 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM, with forays into jazz, electronic music, and dance. The opening on Tuesday, June 17, was entrusted to the Trio Hermes, a young ensemble awarded the 2024 Giovanna Maniezzo Prize by the Accademia Chigiana. Tickets ranged from 8 to 15 euros, plus booking fees.
