clAmore per l'Opera 2025
The second edition of clAmore per l'Opera took place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in the Church of San Giovanni Battista in Cassino. The concert, lasting about ninety minutes, featured the San Giovanni Battista Choir of Cassino conducted by Maestro Fulvio Venditti, accompanied by an ensemble of strings, woodwinds, and piano, along with a group of soloists, some of whom came from the Teatro San Carlo in Naples.
The program revisited the most famous pages of opera, with composers such as Verdi, Donizetti, Mozart, Puccini, Gounod, Mascagni, Bizet, and Rossini: from «La donna è mobile» to «Una furtiva lagrima», up to the stirring «Nessun dorma». The event, supported by the Municipality of Cassino, confirmed the city's growing affection for this opera festival.
