Edition 2025 — CivitaquanaPoesia

The first edition of the CivitaquanaPoesia National Prize concluded on Saturday, August 30, 2025, with the awards ceremony at the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Civitaquana. The jury, chaired by Nicoletta Di Gregorio, announced the winners of the poetry section, while Elio Pecora received the Lifetime Achievement Award with the unveiling of the first installation on the Poetry Avenue.

The first edition of 2025

The first edition of the CivitaquanaPoesia National Prize took place in Civitaquana, in the province of Pescara, with the closing ceremony on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie. The jury, composed of Nicoletta Di Gregorio (president), Simone Gambacorta, Anna Maria Giancarli, and Daniela Quieti, declared the winners of the poetry section.

The first prize went to Antonio Alleva, followed by Plinio Perilli and Marco Tabellione; the President's Special Prize was awarded to Massimo Pamio and the Jury's Special Prize to Anna Maria Petrova. The evening, coordinated by journalist Antonia Matarrese, featured actress Alessia Patregnani reciting the winning poems, accompanied by mezzo-soprano Isabella De Massis. The event opened along the Poetry Avenue (Via Roma) with the unveiling of the installation dedicated to a work by Elio Pecora, who was honored with the "CivitaquanaPoesia" Lifetime Achievement Award.
