City of Gold Walk – 2nd Arianna Alpi Trophy

The 2025 edition of the City of Gold Walk marked the relaunch of the historic race in Valenza, in the province of Alessandria, with the establishment of the first Arianna Alpi Trophy dedicated to the women's race. 142 athletes started on the 5.4 km city course, confirming the event's strong appeal.

The race, a stage of the Dodecarun circuit, saw the dominance of Ethiopian athletes among the men and the victory of Sofia Cafasso among the women, who later also won the circuit's general classification. An edition that brought the passion for running back to the center of the Piedmontese jewelry city.
