City in Dance

The 8th edition of Città in Danza took place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Nicola Vaccaj Theatre in Tolentino, organized by the UISP Territorial Committee of Macerata with the patronage of the Municipality. The day brought over 400 dancers and 77 choreographies to the stage, in one of the two Marche region qualifying events for the national UISP circuit, which selects the formations admitted to the national final.

The performances, divided by age groups, ranged across classical, modern, contemporary, and hip-hop dance. The jury, chaired by the national coordinator of UISP dance, Fabrizio Federici, and composed of teachers and choreographers Cristiana Cappi, Veronica Barchielli, and Giorgia D'Emidio, awarded for each category the City of Tolentino prize and recognitions for best choreography, best technique, and best expressiveness. Among the prominent schools, Cantiere DanzArte of Tolentino received a shower of awards.
