"Città di Pienza" Choral Festival

The 25th "Città di Pienza" Choral Festival in 2025 confirmed the formula that has made this event a classic in the Pienza calendar: a day dedicated entirely to choral singing in the intimate Church of San Francesco, located in the UNESCO historic center of Pienza, in the Province of Siena. The "Benvenuto Franci" Choir, the host group named after the Pienza-born baritone, welcomed choirs from various Italian regions, each presenting its own repertoire ranging from sacred music and polyphony to folk songs. Free admission allowed residents and visitors to the Val d'Orcia to participate in an evening of music and sharing, in the spirit of cultural exchange.
