Edition 2025 — Tagghjate Award

The second edition of the Città delle Tagghjate Award took place on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 8:30 PM, at the Parco delle Tagghjate in San Giorgio Ionico. It was a gala evening hosted by Beppe Convertini and Matilde Brandi, highlighted by the presentation of the decree from the President of the Republic conferring the title of City upon the town, and the awarding of Apulian excellence.

The second edition of the Città delle Tagghjate Award took place on Friday, September 12, 2025, starting at 8:30 PM, in the evocative setting of the Parco delle Tagghjate in San Giorgio Ionico, in the province of Taranto. The evening was hosted by Beppe Convertini and Matilde Brandi, with musical accompaniment by the Controrchestra Big Band, conducted by Massimo Galantucci.

The central moment of the edition was the presentation, by the Prefect of Taranto, Paola Dessì, of the decree from the President of the Republic officially conferring the title of City upon San Giorgio Ionico. Alongside the institutional recognition, the evening honored Apulian personalities who distinguished themselves in their respective professional and social fields, confirming the award as a defining event for the entire community of San Giorgio.
