Circello Summer Festival

A 2025 summer of memory and music

The 2025 Circello Summer Festival featured two major highlights. On July 26th and 27th, the village transformed into an open-air stage for the re-enactment of the 1496 Battle of Circello, the episode recounted by Guicciardini: Saturday featured medieval camps, period tents, military life scenes, historical games, and a food and wine trail in the historic center; Sunday, at 7:00 PM, the historical pageant and the clash between Angevin and Aragonese troops were performed by over 150 participants, historical groups, artists, and volunteers.

The Kolors at Parco San Vito

On August 3rd, 2025, at Parco San Vito, the free concert by The Kolors brought thousands of people to Circello from across the province: an evening managed by the municipal administration with local associations, including hospitality and security services, confirming the small Sannio town's vocation for major musical events in early August.

The ancient roots of the territory

On August 5th, 2025, Circello hosted the public presentation of the first results of archaeological investigations on the Ligures Baebiani settlement, conducted by the universities of Berlin and Hamburg with the German Archaeological Institute, the Municipality, and the Superintendency of Caserta and Benevento: another piece in the story of the Tammaro Valley.
