Edition 2025 — Cinisi Carnival
The 2025 Cinisi Carnival took place between late February and early March, re-proposing the parades of papier-mâché allegorical floats, costumed groups, and school floats along Corso Umberto I. The Municipality of Cinisi, in the province of Palermo, confirmed the traditional rituals of the festival.
The event opened on Shrove Thursday with the grand inaugural parade and the arrival of 'Lu Nannu', accompanied by storyteller Salvo Piparo. Central moments included the historical pageant and 'u Matrimoniu' on Monday, leading up to the Shrove Tuesday closing with the reading of the Nannu's Will.
On the musical front, the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele Orlando stage hosted the concert by BigMama on Monday, March 3. Admission to all events was free.
