CINEMENTE - Psychoanalysis and Cinema Festival

"Forms of Destructiveness" — the 2025 edition

In 2025, CINEMENTE dedicated its eleventh edition to the forms of destructiveness: a journey through the inner conflicts, toxic relationships, domestic violence, wars, and social crises that permeate our time. The festival, conceived and curated by the Italian Psychoanalytic Society in collaboration with the Palazzo Esposizioni Roma and the CSC-National Film Archive, was held in the Cinema Hall at Via Milano 9a, in the Municipality of Rome, from May 15 to June 26, 2025.

On that occasion as well, each screening was followed by a meeting with the film's director and psychoanalysts from the SPI, presented and coordinated by Fabio Castriota. Admission was free, with online booking recommended starting from the Monday preceding each evening.
