Edition 2025 — Cinema of the Real
22nd edition: a night of cinema under the stars
On July 19, 2025, the Castello Volante in Corigliano d'Otranto hosted the 22nd edition of the Cinema of the Real and the Unreal Festival, from 8:00 PM until dawn. Two screens under the stars offered documentary screenings and experimental cinema, with a tribute to Chris Marker.
Films and guests
Works presented included Acqua, porta via tutto by Albanian director Roland Sejko (Puglia premiere, with music by Teho Teardo), Si dice di me by Isabella Mari with Marina Rippa, Man Number 4 by British filmmaker Miranda Pennell, and Il cielo sopra Brindisi. The evening was accompanied by concerts, performances, workshops, musical aperitifs, and DJ sets with Heartdeath, Lonoce, and Ultracromo.

Tickets were 5 euros until 11:00 PM and 10 euros after 11:00 PM.
