Edition 2025 — Cinema Liberato
The first edition
In 2025, Parco Andrea Campagna, in Rome's Tiburtino district, came back to life thanks to MEDA Urban Oasis and its cinema arena, Cinema Liberato. From July 15 to October 15, the space hosted free screenings from Tuesday to Sunday in a 940-square-meter arena, set within a green area of about two thousand square meters, just a hundred meters from the Monti Tiburtini metro station.
More than just films
The project, coordinated by V Zona APS with about fifteen partner associations, offered art and creative writing workshops, pottery classes, science outreach evenings, musical performances, contemporary circus, board games, book presentations, and meetings on environment, inclusion, and anti-discrimination, with a bar and small refreshment options. The success of this first season led to the renewal of the initiative in 2026, with an even more extensive calendar.
