Cinema al Verde 2025: the thirteenth edition in the name of peace

The 2025 edition of the festival opened on Monday, June 30, at the Eco-Archaeological Park of Pontecagnano Faiano and continued until August 4, with screenings every Monday and Thursday at 9:00 PM.

The distinctive feature of that year was the collaboration with Cineclub Arci Fitzcarraldo, which participated in the selection of titles, giving the program a precise thematic focus: anti-militarism, which served as the common thread, especially for the classic films on the schedule. Alongside a dozen recent titles, the festival brought some masterpieces of cinema history back to the big screen.

The opening night, with free admission, was dedicated to the documentary No Other Land, a story of friendship between a Palestinian activist and an Israeli journalist in the West Bank. Single tickets cost €5, with a 10-film subscription available for €35.

The organization was curated by the Mascheranova and Foroscenica associations together with the Legambiente OcchiVerdi Circle, in partnership with the Municipality of Pontecagnano Faiano and with the recognition of the Film Commission Regione Campania.
