Edition 2025 — Cimento d'la Merla

The 14th edition of the Cimento d'la Merla was held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Canottieri Lake Orta beach in Orta San Giulio. As per tradition, the gathering took place at 11:00 AM, followed by the noon plunge into the icy waters of Lake Orta and the customary Swimmer's Lunch in support of ADMO.

The 14th edition of the Cimento d'la Merla took place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Canottieri Lake Orta beach in Orta San Giulio. Swimmers gathered at 11:00 AM and plunged at noon into the icy waters of Lake Orta during the famous "days of the blackbird". After the swim, covered changing rooms and hot showers were available, followed by the Swimmer's Lunch at the "Il Pozzo" restaurant, with proceeds donated to ADMO. The event was organized by the Anatre Selvagge in collaboration with the Canottieri Lago d'Orta and ADMO.

Prices

Free registration. Swimmer's Lunch 15 euros per person (includes pizza and a drink), proceeds donated to ADMO.
