Edition 2025 — White Fig Festival
The ninth edition, August 20-24, 2025
In the summer of 2025, the San Giuseppe district of Giungano hosted the 9th edition of the Cilento White Fig Festival from August 20 to 24, with free admission and dedicated parking areas. Food stalls opened around 7:00 PM and concerts began around 9:30 PM.
The menu and new features
The Cilento White Fig (DOP) was once again the absolute star of a menu crafted from appetizer to dessert, featuring both rustic Cilento recipes and more refined offerings. Among the new features of the 2025 edition were gluten-free options, designed to make the experience inclusive. Alongside the stalls, there were artisan markets, cooking workshops, photography exhibitions, and meetings with food industry experts.
Musical evenings
Five folk music concerts enlivened the village: Peppe Cirillo and Antiquasaxa with Sfessania on August 20, Tarammurria and La Paranza (La Madonna di Bagni) on the 21st, Marianna Ricciardi with Biagio De Prisco and I Virtuosi della Tarantella on the 22nd, Picarielli and Friends with Ugo Maiorano, AmletoLivia and the DJ set by Peppe Arena on the 23rd, and for the closing, Ars Nova Napoli together with I Virtuosi della Tarantella on August 24.
