Cilento Fest - Cinema and Villages

Cilento Fest 2025, the fourth edition

From August 18th to 21st, 2025, the village of Perito, in the province of Salerno, hosted the fourth edition of Cilento Fest - Cinema and Villages, directed by Max De Francesco. The final report counts 11 screenings, 5 side initiatives, 122 guests including directors, actors, producers, and journalists, a team of 42 people, and 14 affiliated accommodation facilities.

The 2025 Cinema and Villages Grand Prix was awarded to "Una faccia da cinema" by Alberto Salvucci, selected from over 150 films from 16 countries. In total, the event distributed twelve awards: the lifetime achievement award went to Ninetto Davoli, the award for film crafts to cinematographer Paolo Carnera, the Cinema and Writing award to Aurora Ruffino, and the award for best female performance to Antonia Liskova. Among the winners were also Giuseppe Gallo and Fausto Verginelli for the debut work "L'altra via".

The program alternated masterclasses, the "Narrare la luce" cinetalk, creative workshops, and musical shows built on the soundtracks of Pino Daniele and Ennio Morricone. Among the most followed screenings, "E io ti seguo" by Maurizio Fiume, dedicated to journalist Giancarlo Siani. Enzo Decaro and Maria Sole and Gianmarco Tognazzi were also present at the festival.
