Edition 2025 — Cigola Unta Festival

The twenty-ninth edition of the Cigola Unta Festival was held in Moncigoli (Fivizzano) from May 1 to 4, 2025, over four days during the May Day long weekend. In the band hall, the G. Puccini Musical Society offered cigola unta in pinzimonio and traditional peasant dishes from Lunigiana.

The 2025 edition of the Cigola Unta Festival drew food lovers to Moncigoli for four days of celebration. Open for lunch on Thursday, May 1, then for dinner on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3, and for lunch on Sunday, May 4, the event featured the local onion in pinzimonio along with ravioli, grilled meat, fava beans and pecorino, tripe and polenta, sgabei, focaccine, bruschetta, and desserts, confirming the success of an established Lunigiana tradition.
