Cici Film Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Cici Film Festival took place in September in Castellammare del Golfo, in the province of Trapani, confirming the traveling format that characterizes the event. For the fourth consecutive year, the entire village, from the historic center to the sea, transformed into a large participatory film set.

Ten young under-35 directors, selected through an open call, created an original short film of up to ten minutes in just one week, based on a theme revealed upon their arrival in Sicily. Residents and visitors took part in the filming as actors and extras. The program included evening open-air screenings, meetings with authors, concerts, and exhibitions, with the competing short films evaluated by a professional jury and the public.
