Cicerchia Festival

The 2025 edition took place from August 8 to 15 in the village of Castelvecchio Calvisio, between the historic center and the marquee set up at the parish premises. The program alternated live musical evenings, including rock tributes and ballroom dancing, with moments dedicated to the community: a gathering of vintage cars and motorcycles, workshops, tournaments, and the traditional craft market.

The food stalls featured traditional Abruzzese dishes, from grilled meat to polenta with salt cod, along with preparations based on cicerchia, the ancient legume that gives identity to the village and its festival. A week of celebration that confirmed the deep bond between the community of Castelvecchio Calvisio and its land.
