Cicatelli Festival

The 2025 Cicatelli Festival was held on August 18, 2025, in Celle di San Vito, closing a particularly lively summer in the small municipality of the Daunian Mountains. The evening saw the historic center come alive with the culinary trail dedicated to cicatelli and Franco-Provençal flavors, accompanied by live music from the group Terra Nostra Folk.

The festival was the final highlight of a summer calendar that brought numerous events to the village: the historical pageant on August 9th regarding the town's Angevin origins, featuring Pinuccio (Alessio Giannone) as Charles I of Anjou; the comedy show by Biagio Izzo on August 12th in a packed square; patronal celebrations; events dedicated to the Franco-Provençal linguistic minority; and theatrical performances in the Franco-Provençal language. A summer that united gastronomy, culture, and identity in the province of Foggia.
