Edition 2025 — Ciauru d'Autunnu

The 2025 autumn edition of Ciauru took place from October 9 to 12 in San Filippo del Mela, with the heart of the events in the hamlet of Olivarella. Four days dedicated to agriculture, food and wine, culture, and entertainment, ranging from the seminar on extra virgin olive oil to the 'Notte in Danza', from the 'Notte Bianca' with Cecilia Gayle and Jo Squillo to the 'Festival del Sorriso'. The edition also welcomed European delegations as part of a twinning pact on sustainability.

Ciauru d'Autunnu 2025: the program

From October 9 to 12, 2025, San Filippo del Mela, in the province of Messina, experienced four days of scents and traditions.

  • Thursday, October 9 — Council Chamber, 6:30 PM: seminar 'Olive oil: from plant to fruit, benefits and potential'.
  • Friday, October 10 — Olivarella, 8:00 PM: 'Notte in Danza', with thirteen local dance schools and groups.
  • Saturday, October 11 — Olivarella, 7:00 PM: 'Notte Bianca', with guests Cecilia Gayle and Jo Squillo and numerous dance groups.
  • Sunday, October 12 — Olivarella, 6:00 PM: 'Festival del Sorriso', with Loredana Scalia, Carlo Kaneba, Antonella Cirrone, and Andrea Barone.

The edition was part of the European twinning initiative 'Think Green – Be Green', with delegations from Portugal, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Malta. Access to the events was free.
