Cialoma a la Tunnara

The third edition of Cialoma a la Tunnara was held in Cinisi (PA) from August 3 to 5, 2025, at the Tonnara dell'Ursa. The festival, organized by the Municipality of Cinisi, offered three evenings full of events dedicated to the Sicilian language and traditions.

• Sunday, August 3: 3rd Sicilian Dialect Poetry Recital, featuring linguist Giovanni Ruffino, followed by the show "I Paladini di Francia" by the Sicilian marionette association.
• Monday, August 4: Presentation of the book "Il Mostro di Urbino" by Francesco Bozzi with Sergio Friscia and Andrea Tuttolomondo, and screening of the film "L'amore che ho" dedicated to Rosa Balistreri.
• Tuesday, August 5: Round table "Dialect music: popular or high art?" with Debora Troia and Prof. Miryam Scotto di Santolo, and a concert by Sissy Castrogiovanni with The Sicilian Jazz Experience.

Every evening, starting at 7:30 PM, the tuna fishery hosted an exhibition path with a photography show, collective art, a literary area, a craft market, and food and wine tastings.
