Edition 2025 — Ciakontemporaneo

The 2025 edition of Ciakontemporaneo was held at the Teatro Ciak on Via Cassia from October 1st to November 27th, with free admission for families and schools. The programme featured six youth theatre titles, ranging from the Shakespearean reinterpretation of 'Sognando... Romeo e Giulietta' to the children's mystery 'Giallo Papero', as well as 'Ritorno ad Oz' and 'Sherlock Holmes e il Mistero della Mummia'. A spring cycle had already taken place in May.

Ciakontemporaneo 2025

From October 1st to November 27th, 2025, Teatro Ciak Roma hosted the Ciakontemporaneo festival: eight weeks of theatre for children, families, and schools with free admission, supported by the Ministry of Culture and the 'Roma Creativa 365' grant from Rome Capital.

The programme offered six titles in double performances: Sognando... Romeo e Giulietta (October 1-2), Giallo Papero (October 12-13), Arione Ferma la Guerra (November 2-3), Ritorno ad Oz (November 9-10), Sherlock Holmes e il Mistero della Mummia (November 16-17), and Le Belle Notti (November 26-27). A journey that traversed fairy tales, mysteries, reimagined classics, and civil storytelling, with a particular focus on themes of coexistence and diversity.

In the spring of the same year, the venue had already proposed a cycle of events dedicated to adult audiences, confirming the project's vitality throughout the season.
