Ciak Cinema Arena

The 2025 edition

From August 30 to October 12, 2025, the Teatro Ciak on Via Cassia hosted the free festival Ciak Cinema Arena, with twenty-four films scheduled over six weeks. The guiding theme chosen for the edition was that of hospitality, diversity, and friendship, expressed through animation titles, comedies, and contemporary dramas.

The Ciak d'Autore section, curated by film critic Donato Di Stasi, offered an introductory presentation on the context and structure of the film for each screening, followed by a debate with the audience. The project, promoted as part of the cultural initiatives of Roma Capitale, confirmed the festival's vocation: to bring quality, free, and commented cinema to a neighborhood in the XV Municipality of Rome far from the large arenas of the center.
