The 2025 edition

From September 11 to 14, 2025, the Goffredo Mameli Library at Via del Pigneto 22, Rome, hosted the third edition of the Listening Festival. The festival, promoted by Fandango Libri and Fandango Podcast, brought together more than forty guests for four days of meetings, listening sessions, talks, contests, and live performances.

Among the most popular events: round tables on the craft of podcasting, the listening session of the audio documentary « 10.25: le macerie » dedicated to the 1980 Bologna massacre, the review of scientific podcasts « Icaro. La scienza in audio », the performance « Il Cuore scoperto », the Fandango Podcast Award, and the Story Slam and Open Mic evenings. The program hosted well-known voices from the Italian cultural scene such as Marino Sinibaldi, Igiaba Scego, and Luigi Manconi, and involved partners such as Audible, Emons, RaiPlay Sound, CNR-IRPPS, A Sud, Assipod, Save the Children, and Sveja. The edition was part of the Estate Romana 2025 program with free admission to all events.
