Edition 2025 — Frog Festival

The 2025 edition of the Church New Frog Festival took place from July 24 to 29 at the Piazza Merli sports field in Poggio Renatico (FE). The covered, heated, and air-conditioned stand offered frog specialties of the Ferrara tradition for six evenings, with live music, bouncy castles for children, and markets, also highlighted by the local press as one of the must-visit festivals of the weekend.

Frog Festival 2025

The 2025 edition was held from July 24 to 29 in the covered stand of the Chiesa Nuova sports field, in Poggio Renatico (Ferrara), with evening openings and midday openings on holidays.

The stars were the frogs in their many traditional preparations, from fried frogs to risottos and tortelli, alongside fish and meat offerings. The event, organized by local sports club volunteers, offered live music every evening and entertainment for families, confirming itself as one of the most popular gastronomic events of the summer in the lower Ferrara region.
