The 2025 edition of the Catania Christmas markets kicked off on November 28, 2025, with the lighting of the tree and illuminations in Piazza Università and continued until December 28. The illuminated wooden stalls were set up between Piazza Università, Via Minoriti, and Via Montesano, featuring stands of local crafts, decorations, nativity scenes, ceramics, and traditional products such as torrone, cannoli, and almond sweets.
The Christmas program of the Municipality of Catania included events throughout the neighborhoods, the White Night in the historic center on December 13, and the Christmas Town village at Le Ciminiere, confirming the initiative as one of the most cherished events of the Etna Christmas season.
