Christmas in the Village

The 2025 edition of Christmas in the Village brought Mirto to life from December 26, 2025, to January 6, 2026. The festivities opened on Boxing Day with the traditional living nativity scene in the historic center.

Among the most anticipated events: the show "Songs, Stories, and Dances of the Sicilian Nativity" by the Sikania Minor Deus company in the Sala delle Capriate of Palazzo Cupane (December 27), the 5th "Cirino Sapone" Memorial at the municipal sports field, the musical "The Factory of Stars" by the Green Peace Group (December 29), and "Santa's Sleigh" with Santa Claus in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele (December 30).

The New Year was welcomed with the New Year's Concert in the Mother Church (January 1), followed by "The Nebrodi Treasure Chest" dedicated to typical products (January 2), the "Christmas at the Opera" concert by the Premiato Corpo Bandistico "Giuseppe Verdi" (January 4), the concert by the group LaSettimaNota (January 5), and the "Waiting for the Befana" party (January 6), which closed the festival.

Jan 3: Cookie workshop and piano/vocal concert. Jan 4: "Christmas at the Opera", Premiato Corpo Bandistico "Giuseppe Verdi". Jan 5: Concert by the group LaSettimaNota, Mother Church. Jan 6: "Waiting for the Befana" for children.
