Christmas in Palestrina before the Carchitti Village

In the previous season, the Christmas program of the Municipality of Palestrina, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, was already built around the elements that led to its success: illuminations along the streets of the historic center, the ice skating rink, artisan and local product markets of the Prenestino area, Christmas concerts, and nativity scene exhibitions.

The event, curated by the Pro Loco Palestrina APS with the support of the Municipality, closed as per tradition on January 6th with the Epiphany events. It is precisely based on this edition that the program was expanded the following year with the first Santa Claus Village in the hamlet of Carchitti.
