Edition 2025 — Christmas at the Pastena Caves
The 2025-2026 edition of the Christmas Festivities at the Pastena Caves opened on December 8th with markets, a food and wine trail along the access road, and the evening lighting of the illuminations and the tree. This was followed by "An elf at the Caves", the Bagpipe Festival with Santa Claus, the day of dances and accordion, and the conclusion on January 6th with "The Befana at the Caves". All events were free until capacity was reached.
The 2025-2026 Christmas Festivities
The event, promoted by LAZIOcrea for the Lazio Region, enlivened the square and the auditorium of the Pastena Caves from the Immaculate Conception to Epiphany, as part of a broader calendar that also involved the Pozzo d'Antullo and the Charterhouse of Trisulti, in Collepardo.
- December 8th — from 12:00 PM Christmas markets and food and wine trail; in the afternoon "The Village: a big family", with games and Christmas stories; in the evening, lighting of the illuminations and the tree.
- December 20th, 10:00 AM-3:30 PM — "An elf at the Caves": outdoor activities, stories, and creative workshops for children.
- December 21st, 10:00 AM-3:30 PM — Bagpipe Festival, a day of traditional music with the presence of Santa Claus.
- December 27th, 10:00 AM-3:30 PM — dances, accordion, and folk traditions.
- January 6th, 10:00 AM-3:30 PM — "The Befana at the Caves", with entertainment and stockings for the little ones.
