Christmas at the Castle in Soriano nel Cimino

From December 7, 2025, to January 6, 2026, on every weekend and holiday, Christmas at the Castle brought a month of magic to Soriano nel Cimino, blending history, tradition, and wonder. Organized by the Pro Loco with the Municipality and local associations, the event — with free admission — had its heart in Santa's House set up in the halls of Castello Orsini, where children met Santa Claus, delivered their letters, and participated in creative workshops with elves and entertainers.

In the area outside the fortress and in the village streets, Christmas markets were held with crafts, ornaments, gift ideas, and typical products, accompanied by food and wine stands featuring the flavors of the Cimini Mountains. The weekend program offered the show "The True Story of Santa Claus: from Saint Nicholas to Santa Claus," magic shows, concerts by the band and the Francesco Suriano Polyphonic Choir, the Christmas street band The With Carols in the historic center, wooden games, face painting, archery, escape rooms, treasure hunts, and chocolate tastings, culminating in the grand Christmas raffle that closed the edition at Epiphany.

Every weekend and holiday from December 7, 2025, to January 6, 2026: Christmas markets from 10:00 AM in the Castello Orsini area and the village; food and wine stands from 12:00 PM; from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM Santa's House in the castle halls with letter delivery (mailable directly from the castle) and workshops with elves and entertainers. Highlights included: animated storytelling "The True Story of Santa Claus: from Saint Nicholas to Santa Claus" with a magic show; Christmas-themed painting workshops with local artists; magic wand making with the Smile Fairies; wooden games, face painting, archery, and escape rooms; concerts by the band and the Francesco Suriano Polyphonic Choir; street band The With Carols through the center; chocolate tastings, treasure hunts, and the grand finale with the Christmas raffle.
