Christ the King Festival (Patron Saint of Valderice)

The 2025 edition of the Christ the King Festival was celebrated in Valderice, in the province of Trapani, on the first Sunday of August. As every year, the religious center of the festivities was the Mother Church of Christ the King, in Piazza Cristo Re, where liturgical functions were held in honor of the patron saint.

The highlight was the procession of the statue of Christ the King along the town streets, followed by the faithful and accompanied by the marching band, according to a tradition deeply rooted in the Valderice community. The event confirmed its role as the main devotional and identity appointment of the Municipality, set within a summer full of events in the Trapani territory.
