Chiusure Artichoke Festival

The 2025 Chiusure Artichoke Festival brought four days of flavor and tradition to the village in the Crete Senesi. The Artichoke Dinners on April 23 and 24, at 8:30 PM, offered a rich Tuscan menu based on artichokes (€35, children €15) accompanied by live music.

On Saturday, April 25, the festival celebrated its main day: from the opening of the gourmet and artisanal market to the Crete Ebike Experience excursions, from herbalist walks to artichoke trekking and sunset tours, to food stands, workshops, and a children's area. In the afternoon and evening, musical performances, musical aperitifs, and DJ sets followed one another. On Sunday, April 26, the event closed with new excursions toward the Abbey of Monte Oliveto, markets, workshops, folk groups, and live concerts.
