Children's Carnival

The 2025 Children's Carnival was held on Saturday, March 22 (with postponement to March 29 in case of bad weather) on the theme "An Afternoon at the Castle". The completely free festival enlivened the centre of Castel Bolognese with a grand masked parade for children and families.

After the gathering at the intersection of Via Papa Giovanni XXIII and Via Martin Luther King, near the Monument to the Fallen, the parade accompanied by the "Come Eravamo Band" reached Piazza Bernardi. Here, fun games like "Leghiamoci" (Let's Lego) with giant Lego bricks, a DJ set, and entertainment took place. Each participant received a small token of appreciation, and the participating schools received vouchers for local stationery shops; in the evening, awards were given for the most imaginative costumes.

Saturday, March 22, 2025 — "An Afternoon at the Castle"

• 2:00 PM — Gathering at the Monument to the Fallen, at the intersection of Via Papa Giovanni XXIII and Via Martin Luther King
• 2:30 PM — Start of the grand parade towards Piazza Bernardi with the "Come Eravamo Band"
• In the square — "Leghiamoci" game with giant Lego bricks, DJ set, and entertainment
• 4:00 PM — Snack for children
• In the evening — Awards ceremony for the most imaginative costumes
