Children's Carnival

On March 4, 2025, Shrove Tuesday, the theater hall of the "Evan Gorga" Comprehensive Institute hosted the second edition of the Children's Carnival of Broccostella. The celebration, resulting from the collaboration between the Consorzio Intesa and the institute, featured children from the "Trilly" nursery, who paraded in costume with their family members, and the local preschool classes, who performed with songs and poems.

A jury composed of authorities and representatives of the Consorzio Intesa evaluated the most original costumes. The event was attended by School Principal Anita Monti, Mayor Domenico Urbano, Deputy Mayor Luciano Parravano, and Social Services Councilor Benedetta Lecce. Among the most appreciated costumes was one representing the world of a nursing home, with a father as a doctor, a mother as a nurse, and twin daughters depicting the wisdom of the elderly.
