Edition 2025 — Chigiana International Festival

The eleventh edition of the Chigiana International Festival & Summer Academy took place from July 9th to September 2nd, 2025, in Siena and the most beautiful locations of the Sienese territory and Tuscany. The theme "Drifts" inspired a journey through non-linear trajectories, with over 100 events and more than 800 artists involved, under the artistic direction of Nicola Sani.

Chigiana International Festival 2025 – "Drifts"

The 2025 edition, titled "Drifts", featured over 100 events organized into seven thematic paths (Special Events, Legends, Today, Opera, Off the wall, Factor, and Lounge), with the participation of more than 800 artists. The program included five operatic productions, chamber concerts, electronic music, and multimedia performances, as well as over 30 world premieres.

As every year, the festival organized by the Fondazione Accademia Musicale Chigiana transformed Siena and numerous locations in Tuscany into a grand summer stage, uniting great international masters with the young talents of the Summer Academy.
