Chicken, Rabbit and Grilled Meat Festival

The 69th edition (2025)

The sixty-ninth edition of the Chicken, Rabbit and Grilled Meat Festival was held from Friday, September 5 to Sunday, September 7, 2025, animating Piazza Garibaldi, Largo San Leone Magno, and the town center streets near the participating butcher shops (FinSud, Mannaretta, Loperfido Domenico, Valente Bartolo, and Santoro Gastronomia).

The big news of the year was the extraordinary opening of the stalls for Sunday lunch, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with happy-hour style offerings, entertainment by the band Funk-o-Pop, and a DJ set by Silvio Perta from Sartoria degli Artisti. The evenings featured performances by the duo What Else (Friday), the band Metaverso (Saturday), and Vito Lorenzo Gasparro Folk Music (Sunday). The event also included a bouncy castle area with children's entertainment by Radio Puglia and the traditional satirical shop windows. The event was organized by ASCOM Confcommercio Castellana Grotte with the patronage of the Municipality.
