Edition 2025 — Chiasso d'Arte

The first edition of Chiasso d'Arte took place in Monreale from June 20 to August 1, 2025, with four evening events in the Chiasso Beato Pino Puglisi. The free-entry festival brought books, authors, and music to the historic center, with presentations dedicated to the history of Sicily, travel, poetry, and introspective writing. Public welcome at 5:30 PM and start of meetings at 6:00 PM.

Chiasso d'Arte 2025: four evenings of words and storytelling

The inaugural edition of Chiasso d'Arte was held in Monreale from June 20 to August 1, 2025, with four events in the Chiasso Beato Pino Puglisi. Organized by the Festina Lente Cultural Association with the patronage of the Municipality, the festival was curated by Claudia Scavone with the coordination of Rosario Lo Cicero Madè.

The program

  • June 20 - Sara Favarò presents Adelasia: mother of the Kingdom of Sicily and Queen of Jerusalem.
  • July 4 - Carmelo Di Gesaro with Getting off at the next stop. Lima: the capital of Peru.
  • July 18 - Vincenzo Profeta proposes Viola. Writings from nowhere.
  • August 1 - grand finale with authors Paolo Anile, Francesco Gennaro, Stefano Gresta, and Daniela Marra, with the special participation of musician and writer Francesco Cusa.

All meetings, with free admission, took place outdoors with welcome at 5:30 PM and start at 6:00 PM, confirming the Chiasso Beato Pino Puglisi as a new cultural venue in Monreale.
