Chestnuts and Novello Wine Festival

The 2025 Edition

The "Chestnuts and Novello Wine" festival on November 2, 2025, in Castelguidone opened in the afternoon with the lighting of the stands dedicated to roasted chestnuts and the tasting of local Novello wine. The program alternated between culinary moments and performances: folk music with local groups, a food and wine workshop on the tradition of Novello wine and chestnuts, and in the evening, a live concert with local artists. The day concluded late at night with toasts and traditional sweets like mostaccioli and ferratelle. Admission was free, and the event, organized by the Castelguidone Pro Loco, confirmed its role as a deeply felt autumn appointment for the Alto Vastese community.
