Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festivals of Gazzola

In the autumn of 2025, the Pro Loco of Gazzola once again hosted the traditional chestnut festivals in the Municipality of Val Luretta, in the province of Piacenza. As tradition dictates, in Piazza del Comune and the hamlet of Momeliano, the chestnut was the star, accompanied by polenta with sauce or cheese, sausage sandwiches, desserts, and wine from the Piacenza hills, with stands open from noon and free admission.

Castagnate di Gazzola 2025

The 2025 edition of the Castagnate di Gazzola confirmed the traditional format of the autumn chestnut festival in the Val Luretta area, in the province of Piacenza. In Piazza del Comune, with stands opening around noon, the caldarroste were, as always, the absolute stars, accompanied by polenta with sauce or cheese, sausage sandwiches, desserts, and wine from the Piacenza hills.

Organised by the Pro Loco di Gazzola, the chestnut festival once again proved to be a convivial event for families and visitors, with free admission.
