Chestnut Festival 2025

The 2025 Chestnut Festival in Roncegno Terme (Valsugana, Trentino) was held from Friday, October 24, to Sunday, October 26, 2025, with the chestnut and artisan market open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 7 PM between Piazza A. de Giovanni and Piazza Montebello.

The opening evening on Friday featured the "Apericoro" with the S. Osvaldo Choir and a book presentation by Rosanna Cavallini. On Saturday the 25th, the program came to life with a walk on the chestnut trail accompanied by forestry guides, children's workshops, the cutting of the giant cake in Piazza A. de Giovanni, a puppet show for families, the inauguration of the community oven, and, in the evening, a rock concert by The Capston followed by a DJ set by Stefano Cenci. On Sunday the 26th, after another walk in the chestnut grove, live music was provided by the band Trifisa.

There was no shortage of roasted chestnuts, chestnut desserts, bouncy castles, roving entertainment, a petting zoo, and themed menus at restaurants and agriturismos. Admission was free.

• 10:00 — "Trees of the park: making a herbarium", activity for children aged 7+ with Gabriele Bertacchini (Vitaliano Modena Municipal Library)
• 10:00-19:00 — Chestnut and artisan market
• 14:00 — Official opening with the cutting of the giant cake in Piazza A. de Giovanni
• 15:00 — Puppet show for families
• 16:30 — Inauguration of the community oven
• 20:30 — Rock concert by The Capston
• 21:00 — DJ set by Stefano Cenci

• 13:00 — Live music with the band Trifisa

Throughout the weekend: children's entertainment, bouncy castles, creative workshops, roving music, petting zoo, and themed menus in local restaurants and agriturismos.
