The 19th edition of the Chestnut Festival

In 2025, the Chestnut Festival in Rocca Massima, in the province of Latina, reached its nineteenth edition, spread over two weekends: October 17, 18, and 19, and October 25 and 26.

The village's historic center was brought to life by stalls and stands offering local products, with a parade by the Rioni di Cori flag-wavers and State Police mounted patrols marking the lighting of the roasting fires. At the organizing association's stand, visitors enjoyed roasted chestnuts and wine, while communal lunches and dinners featuring chestnut-based specialties were held in the main square.

The program included live music, dance school performances, quad and tractor gatherings, tastings of honey, sweets, and artisanal products, and guided tours of the Lepini Mountains chestnut groves. The event was organized by the Municipal Administration in partnership with the La Castagna di Rocca Massima Association, highlighting one of the region's primary culinary treasures.
